This course is designed for teachers who have completed Module One and are ready to advance their skills and knowledge. Join expert instructors for an in-depth program covering advanced AcroDance skills from Levels 7 to Pre-Professional 3 of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus.

Master advanced techniques, spotting, and progressions to elevate your teaching capabilities. This comprehensive course ensures you're well-prepared to instruct and spot students at higher levels, providing an advanced foundation in AcroDance education.

Course Overview

Scope: This course covers the second half of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, from Levels 7 to Pre-Professional 3.

Content:

  • Advanced AcroDance skills: Flexibility, hand balancing, and limbering
  • Advanced tumbling: Front and side aerials, back handsprings
  • Advanced transitions for AcroDance
  • Common anatomy issues facing the AcroDancer

Requirements: To complete Module 2 Certification, participants must attend the course and complete practical hours (20-100 hours, depending on the practical exam results).

Prerequisites

  • Module One Certification with a current and active license
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Recommended: 1-2 years of teaching experience with Module One coursework
  • Completion of the Aerial and Back Handspring Workshop
  • Attendance with a dancer who is Level 6 or higher
