Registration for Back Tuck and Back Layout Certification Course

Location:  Starlight Academy, Royd House, Ghyll Royd, Guiseley, Leeds, LS20 9LU

Date and Time: Sunday, July 27, 2025 (9:00am - 3:00pm; + practical exam 3:15pm to 5:00pm)

This certification course focuses on the progressions, drills and spotting of the Back Tuck & Back Layout from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Practical exam begins at 3:15pm until 5:00pm, in 15 minute intervals.  Time designations is dependent on the queue of participants.

Teachers are required to attend with a demonstrator who is Level 8 or higher and who has mastered the progressions leading up to back tuck and back layout. IE: Side aerial, roundoff back handspring, cartwheel back handspring step out, hold a handstand for 1 minute, 25 handstand shoulder shrugs, 15 consecutive V-snaps, 10 push-ups.

Demonstrators should have strong stamina and be able to safely perform these skills independently.

This course is ideal for teachers who do not feel comfortable spotting the back tuck and back layout.

***Teachers must be at minimum "In-Training" status for Module Two Certification.

This certification will allow teacher to enter their students into exams at the Pre Professional levels.
