Registration for Aerial and Back Handspring Certification Course

Location:  The Hebden School of Dancing Ltd. Unit 18-19, Peterborough One Retail Park, Peterborough, PE1 4YZ

Date: Monday, July 28th 2025  from 1:00pm - 5:00pm (+ practical exam 5:15pm to 7:30pm)

This certification course focuses on the technical requirements and spotting of the Side & Front Aerial and Back Handspring from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

***Aerial and Back Handspring practical exam, required for M2 certification.(15 mins in duration) between 5:15 pm and 7:30 pm. Times will depend on the queue of teachers.

Teachers are required to attend with a demonstrator working on Level 6 and above and ideally who have mastered the progressions leading up to side aerials and back handsprings.  IE: one hand cartwheels, chassé step hop (all cartwheels), back arabian limber, front & back walkover, handstand shoulder shrugs, hold handstand on the wall/plank for 1 minute (as a minimum) for this workshop.

***Module One is a prerequisite to taking this course. This course is ideal for teachers who do not feel comfortable spotting these skills, and is a prerequisite to the Module Two course.

This certification will allow teachers to enter their students into exams levels 7 & 8.
